Privacy Policy

Effective June 2026.

Who we are

ByteVerity (“ByteVerity,” “we,” “us”) builds accountability infrastructure for AI agents. We are a business-to-business company; this site exists to explain our platform and to let you contact us. This policy describes the limited personal data we collect through byteverity.com and how we handle it.

First-party analytics

We measure page activity using our own first-party analytics. When you visit, we generate a random identifier and store it in your browser's localStorage (a “cookieId”) so we can count distinct visits without identifying you personally. We do not load third-party tracking scripts, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers by default.

The analytics we collect are aggregate and operational — which pages are viewed, referrer, and coarse device/browser information. You can clear this identifier at any time by clearing your browser storage; doing so simply causes a new anonymous id to be generated on your next visit.

Information you provide

If you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, work email, company, company size, the role you identify with, and your message. We use it solely to respond to you and to schedule a working session. We do not use contact-form data for advertising.

The verify portal

Records you paste into the verify portal are processed entirely in your browser. The verification runs client-side via WebCrypto with zero network requests; the record you paste is never transmitted to or stored by ByteVerity.

How we use data

We use the data above to operate and improve the site, to respond to inquiries, to schedule meetings, and to maintain the security and integrity of our services. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a B2B website and, where you contact us, to take steps at your request.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the site (for example, hosting or email delivery), under contracts that restrict them to processing it on our behalf, or where required by law.

Retention

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to follow up and maintain our business records, then delete or anonymize them. Aggregate analytics are retained only as long as they are operationally useful.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@byteverity.com.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited personal data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat the data you entrust to us with care.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our practices evolve; we will revise the effective date above when we do. Questions? Email privacy@byteverity.com.
